Welcome to Novel Tea Room.

With nearly 30 teas on offer, ranging from 1986 oolongs to modern herbal blends, and every color and style in between, we cherish the opportunity to guide each guest to their new favorite tea.

Novel Tea Room is housed in the historic Dubbel Dutch Hotel, an immaculately restored double mansion originally constructed in 1898. Just a few blocks from Lake Michigan, Novel is the perfect moment of rest in any downtown excursion.

We are currently only accommodating private parties and events. If you would like to join us for a High Tea, or to host a special event, please reach out!
